What is my story?

I am an Italian violinist who’s already performed in several European countries, including Spain, France, Bosnia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Belgium.

I was born in Imperia in 1997 and began studying the violin at the age of 11 with Prof. Alfonso Moretta at the ‘G. Amadeo’ music school. Prof. Moretta managed to transfer his passion for this instrument to me, and he still is an important reference point for me today.

In 2020, I graduated with top marks and honours from the “N. Paganini” Conservatory of Music in Genoa, studying with Professor Vittorio Marchese. I also had the privilege of living at the prestigious student residence “Delle Peschiere”, where I developed various soft skills thanks to the JUMP course (Job University Matching Program).
I continued my studies in Germany, spending an Erasmus semester at the Mannheim University of Music with Prof. Noè Inui.

In 2021, I was admitted to the prestigious Freiburg University of Music in the class of Prof. Simone Zgraggen, who was able to develop my skills to the fullest. I completed my Master of Arts in violin with full marks in July 2023.
I have won several prizes and scholarships, including first prize in the international competition in Cortemilia and third prize in the international competition in Moncalieri in 2019. In November 2022 and 2023,
I was awarded the German national scholarship (Deutschland Stipendium) at the Freiburg University of Music.

In November 2023, I was invited as a guest speaker at the TEDx event in Salzburg, in the concert hall of the Mozarteum University. Here I was able to talk about classical music, trying to break down stereotypes and help people discover its beauty.

During my studies in Italy, I served as Concertmaster and soloist in the Paganini Orchestra, and the orchestra of the Conservatory of Genoa.
I was also the second violin leader of the orchestra of the Musique en Ré’ Festival in La Rochelle, France, and the AIMS Festival Orchestra in Solsona, Spain.

I collaborate regularly with several professional orchestras, including the Basel Sinfonietta. I’m also thrilled to have been selected to participate in the 2023 spring project of the National Youth Orchestra of Luxembourg.

I’ve participated in several important Masterclasses, including the Summer Academy in Cervo, Italy, and the Festival Academy in Budapest, Hungary. In July 2023 I was privileged to be invited to join the staff at the Festival Academy.

Currently, I live in Freiburg and work as a trainer for two semi-professional orchestras: the ‘Bach Collegium‘ and the ‘Junges Kammerorchester Freiburg‘ with which I had the opportunity to perform as a soloist. On top of that, I am a violin teacher at the Montessori Institute ‘Angell’ and in October 2023 I started an artistic pedagogical master at the Freiburg University of Music.
